Groupe Petra

Office tower · Downtown Montreal

An office tower in the heart of downtown: stone and ribbon windows the full height of the building, a busy artery at its feet, and neighbouring towers a few metres away. This is exactly the setting where traditional methods get expensive — not because of the washing, but because of everything you have to mobilise around it.

WHAT THE DRONE MADE POSSIBLE

  • The façade was treated from a ground perimeter a few metres across — no lane closure, no public-way occupancy permit.
  • No roof anchors required: the building carried nothing — no load, no drilling, no anchor inspection.
  • Nobody working at height. Pilot and spotter stay on the ground for the entire operation.
  • Tenant operations were never interrupted: no scaffolding across the windows, no lift parked in the entrance.
  • 4K aerial before/after imagery handed to the client — a visual record of the envelope's condition, reusable in asset management.

RESIDENTIAL

Le Monarc

Multi-building residential complex · Montreal's South Shore

A group of recent buildings: light and dark architectural panels, projecting glass balconies, flat roofs and pedestrian walkways between the blocks. Washing a complex like this is a logistics problem: a lot of surface, tight access between buildings, and residents at home while you work.

WHAT THE DRONE MADE POSSIBLE

  • Several buildings covered in a single mobilisation: the drone moves between blocks in minutes, with nothing to dismantle and rebuild.
  • Glass balconies and architectural setbacks reached without a lift — areas a boom arm simply cannot get into.
  • No scaffolding in front of residents' windows, no walkway blocked while we worked.
  • Short, predictable intervention: occupants know which block is being treated on which day.
  • Aerial views of roofs and parapets included — often the first time a condo board sees them up close.

Le Symphonia

Waterfront residential tower · Nuns' Island, Montreal
